Sitting and writing the Daily Brainwash can often yield funny insights like today's one about a Ferrari. Enjoy!
A life without challenges is like a Ferrari which never breaks the speed limit
If you have a Ferrari, why on earth are you driving just the speed limit? You want to drive it hard and see what it can do. You want drive it fast around the corners. That's the whole point of having a Ferrari. When you have a life, you don't want to focus only on your comfort. You want to face hard and difficult challenges and see what this beautiful machine can do.
If I don’t have the capability, I calmly learn the skills
This is something that's been very hard for me to learn. If I don't have the capability to do something, I don't want to beat myself up. I want to detach, try and learn where I'm deficient, work on building those skills, build myself up and manage my expectations.
My ancestors had to deal with much harder problems than me
My ancestors had to deal with infant mortality, women dying during childbirth, disease, etc. If you had a toothache, you just suffered with a toothache. I want to be grateful that I have such comfort and abundance and remind myself of that and feel that gratitude.
Closing thought: Live like a Ferrari that is breaking the speed limit!
Have a great day and I will see you tomorrow!
